John’s experience and track record is well sought after in sub-Sahara Africa as ACT•hec cc’s roads are durable and long lasting whilst having low maintenance costs compared to other roads built in the Southern African region. From 1985 to 1999, John led many trading ventures and helped Zambia to secure a multi-million export finance for maize meal trading.

In 2008, John founded ACT•hec cc, a road construction and civil engineering company. ACT*hec has been awarded numerous contracts in Southern Africa, including in Angola, Namibia, Botwana, Zambia and Zimbabwe
